| Ali Baba goes head-to-head with Headies. |
It’s the first day of the New Year 2016 and TWO big events will go down in the Nigerian entertainment calendar.
In a few hours, the second edition of Nigerian King of Comedy, Ali Baba‘s ‘January 1st’ concert will be held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The 10th edition of Nigeria’s most respected award, Headies will also be taking at Landmark Events Centre, Oniru, some metres away from the Ali Baba concert venue.

However, while Ali Baba’s concert is a daytime show slated to start at 4pm, the Headies will be happening in the evening.
Both events are sponsored by Heritage Bank and also have almost the same line up of acts performing
