Early in the week, American rapper, 50 Cent signed US-born Nigerian singer, songwriter and actor Rotimi Akinosho to his G.Unit label.

Rotimi then went on to release the remix of his song titled 'Lotto ' featuring his new label boss, 50 Cent.

In this report, we unveil some Facts you should know about Rotimi Akinosho…

• Rotimi was born in Maplewood, New Jersey to Nigerian parents and attended Columbia High School where he was marked out as a talent both on the school's basketball team and the choir.

• He continued his studies at Northwester University and graduated with a Communications minor in Business. Back in high school, he won the Apollo Theater's Amateur Night award twice at the age of 15.

• Rotimi is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FrontRoSeat Productions. In 2011, he released two mix tapes – the
first titled The Resume on March 8, 2011 and While You Wait on November 30, 2011.

• He's featured in 3 Hollywood movies – Black Nativity in 2013, Imperial Dreams (2013) and Divergent in 2014.

• Rotimi is a model who has worked with Grammy Award winning rapper, TI's AKOO Clothing Brand in the 2012 Spring/ Summer campaign.
