You, sir, have officially been 'friend zoned.'
This video, made on the streets of Mumbai and posted on YouTube by Being Indian (also responsible for giving the city a general knowledge quiz), is a 4.45 minute lesson on the perils of being 'friend zoned' - which happens a lot more often than you think it does, apparently. In fact, relationships are like 'indoor games' now (we didn't say that, a wise young man in Mumbai did).
You've been 'friend zoned' if you've ever been told one or more of the below:
-I don't like you but my best friend does
-I don't want to break your heart
-Let's be friends first and then we'll see
-I have a boyfriend
Un-'friend zoning' is virtually impossible but you could try:
-Making her jealous by going out with someone else
-Ignoring her
-Being mysterious
-Buying a white Audi
No guarantees.
Finally, here are two sad life lessons to be learnt from the 'friend zoning' gyaan dispensed by the young and the restless of Mumbai:
-'Friend zoning' only happens to gents. The ladies are mostly always the 'friend zoners.'
-The only way to dodge being 'friend zoned' might possibly be to never ask a girl out at all (especially if you are a mechanical engineer).
