#Reloaded: Jumia Mobile Week Kicks Off.

If the events leading to Jumia Mobile Week were supposed to be the bomb, the Tech Bloggers roundtable has certainly detonated it. Tech Bloggers across length and breadth of the Nigerian Mobile market gathered at the Jumia Head Office today to decipher what exactly Jumia and its partner smartphone brands are planning for the biggest Mobile Sales Event of the year.

The roundtable, anchored by Bertille Guitton, Head of Communications for Jumia Nigeria and Olaoluwa Oloyede, PR Jumia Nigeria, congregated the nation's finest in both the Tech Blogging world and Mobile Manufacturing business. Tecno, Lenovo, InnJoo, Infinix and Axa Mansard were present this year to discuss and argue with the bloggers. Bloggers who endorsed Jumia Mobile week include www.techrez.com, www.techcabal.com, www.geek.ng, www.techcityng.com, www.connectnigeria.com, www.justnaira.com, www.mytechportal.com, www.ebimablog.com(gadgetsng.com), www.misstechy.com, www.naij.com, www.stevenbergy.com, www.techsuplex.com, www.lowkeytech.com, www.brandiq.com, www.ogbongeblog.com, www.techpoint.com, and www.androidnigeria.com.ng

It was virtually lived up to the hype, as Bloggers & brands (Lenovo, Infinix, Innjoo, Tecno, AXA Mansard) locked horns to dissect the 2016 Top Mobile Questions in Nigeria. The White Paper on Mobile Trends in Africa in 2016 done by Jumia was revealed during the roundtable with astonishing facts confirming Nigeria's innovative and groundbreaking achievements in everything mobile. With 70% of customers accessing the Jumia website via a mobile and between 6 and 7 million smartphones sold nationwide in 2015, Nigeria is setting the pace.

A delicately poised argument ensued on pressing mobile issues like the pros and cons of big screens, factors other than the mega pixels that influence the quality of pictures, factors that influence customers purchase decisions in Nigeria and more.

In a statement by Mr. Farhad Khan, VP Commercial of InnJoo Company, "This is InnJoo's second year to attend Jumia Mobile Week and Blogger Roundtable as a gold partner. Last year we've gotten the most traffic for new products' page review, which turned out to be a great success. This year we are continuing the internet journey and bringing the latest 3 new models Fire2, Fire2plus and Halo plus exclusive for Jumia in Nigeria. Together with Jumia, we are striving to delight our customers with our latest offerings."

Commenting further, Mr. Akinmaderin Osofisan, representing AXA Mansard said "The importance of mobile devices to our everyday lives cannot be overstated, as evidenced with the adoption of smartphones statistics seen again today. The JumiaTech-blogger roundtable event was also an opportunity to meet with relevant bloggers and brands in this space to deliberate this."

"The 2016 Jumia Mobile Week Tech Bloggers roundtable event was very interactive and the knowledge shared between the bloggers and the brands was interesting, fun and educative." Folakemi Oteh, Senior Key Accounts Manager.
