News of the Bayern Munich manager's three-year deal saw the official statement relocated so the club's website could cope with the overwhelming traffic demands.
Pep Guardiola's future appointment at Manchester City was finally confirmed on Monday to liven up one of the dullest transfer deadline days in recent memory.
The Spaniard has agreed a three-year deal to move to the Etihad Stadium when he leaves Bayern Munich at the end of the season, with City announcing the long-awaited news on their website.
But as anyone who tried to view the confirmation will know, City's website struggled to cope with the demand and forced the technical team to relocate the statement as their homepage continued to buckle.
