Born Michael Collins Ajereh on November 26, 1982 in Umuahia, Abia state, Don Jazzy has in the last decade created a niche for himself as one of the foremost producers in the continent.
A former church drummer, Don Jazzy started his professional career as a producer with JJC and 419 Squad before teaming up with D’banj to form the defunct Mo’Hits Records.
10 years after returning to Nigeria from the UK, Don Jazzy is regarded as one of the best beatmakers and label owner in this part of the world. His label, Mavin is home to Tiwa Savage, Dr Sid, D’Prince , Korede Bello , Di’ja and Reekado Banks .
Don Jazzy is one of the top celebs on social media with huge followership on Twitter and Instagram. He is also one of the few Nigerians who have been verified on Instagram.
