According to UNESCO hunger statistics, poor nutrition and hunger causes nearly 45% of death in children. It is as a result of this deplorable fact that Korede Manuel an undergraduate in the University of Lagos came up with Project FACT.
FACT is an acronym for FEED A CHILD TODAY, with a debut edition held 30th June 2015 at Module Cole memorial home where the children in the home were showered with humanitarian love. The second edition is scheduled to hold on the 3rd of October 2015 with a mission to feed the underprivileged children in the suburb of Iwaya Lagos with a target population of 3000 children.
Let's join hands to help this initiative by making donations. To feed one Child costs 500Naira so donations can be made according to the number of children you intend to feed. For easy donations various donation channels have been made available, such as: picking up donation cards in all hostels in University of Lagos, and also in the Faculty of Arts Student Association Office.
