Chick Singer Kenny Saint Brown is displeased with the lack of recognition thriving entertainers, such as Davido have gotten from public office holders.
In a recent chat with NET, she said
she's not happy about 'government
neglect of the youth', particularly those in the entertainment industry.
'For instance, Davido has won Best
African act awards at 3 international
awards this year and yet no governor or brand has said well-done to him for making Nigeria proud simply because it's not sports.
Imagine the hype and government support for Blessing Okagbare who won Gold at Glasgow, so much that Governor Uduaghan personally went to Glasgow to congratulate her, this is simply because we don't have a structure to support entertainment.'
KSB, as she's fondly called, is going into politics next year and says she wants to focus on youth development, among other issues.
