EXCLUSIVE; ‘Half of a Yellow Sun’ To Be Released August 1st 2014.

The  film, Half of a Yellow Sun , which was previously scheduled to be released in Nigeria on April 25, will now be released on August 1. The earlier planned release was aborted, following a delay in the film receiving certification from the Nigerian Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB).

Half of a Yellow Sun finally received certification last week, after certain parts of the movie, which were deemed objectionable by the NFVCB, were expunged.
