Elizabeth, a 52-year-old woman allegedly chased her 25-year-old male friend after he reputedly refused to have sex with her.
Crue Finley, who is the victim, says himself and Elizabeth were drinking wine together at her home when he rejected her offer of sex.
Finely told police she grabbed a hunting knife and chased him from her property down the street. Local St. Lucie County police were flagged down by the harassed young man in the car park of the nearby convenience store.
The deputy at the scene reported seeing Highley running onto the car park wielding a knife and what appeared to be a broken walking cane.
The allegedly lovesick lady was subsequently arrested on an aggravated assault charge.
