Crowd Control
A rookie police officer was assigned to ride in a cruiser with an experienced partner. A call came over the car's radio telling them to disperse some people who were loitering.
The officers drove to the street and observed a small crowd standing on a corner. The rookie rolled down his window and said, "Let's get off the corner."
No one moved, so he barked again, "Let's get off the corner!"
Intimidated, the group of people began to leave, casting puzzled glances in his direction.
Proud of his first official act, the young policeman turned to his partner and asked, "Well, how did I do?"
"Pretty good," replied the veteran, "especially since this was a bus stop."
A Word for Today
Guaranteed Result!
"It is the same with my word, I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it."
Isaiah 55:11 (NLT)
The Word of God is potent, it's not like the words of men that often fail, there is guaranteed result from its use. God likened His Word to rain coming down from heaven to water the earth (Vs 10), as sure as the rain that falls on the ground, it will cause the grain to grow and thereby produce harvest, so the Word of God that goes out is guaranteed to produce results.
2 Samuel 22:31 says "As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him."
Every other thing might fail, but not the Word of God, John 1 says, the Word has been from the beginning and all that was created came from the Word. The Word of God is like seed sown by a farmer, we need to constantly put our seed into the ground in order to be guaranteed a harvest. A farmer doesn't get fed up within weeks or months of planting, because he knows he has put something down and results will follow. We mustn't get tired or weary of confessing and holding on to God's Word, because every time we declare it, something shifts in our favour in the heavenly realms. The Bible says in Luke 8:11 that "...The seed is the word of God"
Let us hold fast to the word of God, and not allow our senses to deceive us by producing evidence that is not in line with God's word. Our faith never goes beyond our confessions, never speak failure or defeat. Proverbs 6:2 "You are snared with the words of your lips, you are caught by the speech of your mouth" (AMP).
Make up your mind to lay hold upon God's Word today, confess it until you receive it, it is guaranteed to produce results.
