That purchase came days after Apple announced acquiring Dre's and Jimmy Iovine's Beats Electonics and Beats Music for $3 billion.
He originally purchased the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom and 9,696-square foot estate for $15.4 million in December 2011. The property also features a 300-degree view of the ocean and an infinity pool.

Dre also is the founder and CEO of record label Aftermath Entertainment, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group's Interscope Records.
