The Oscars, hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, will air on Sunday, March 2.
Waltz won his second Oscar for his supporting performance in Django Unchained last year. He received his first in 2009 for his supporting role in Inglourious Basterds.
Waltz's other feature credits include Carnage, The Green Hornet and Water for Elephants. Waltz will next be seen in Big Eyes and Horrible Bosses 2.
