39 Yrs-old Man "Stabbed To Death In Row Over Chess Move"

Tom O'Gorman, 39, was stabbed to death at his home in Dublin in the early hours of Sunday morning.

According to the Guardian, police have said some aspects of the murder are 'too gruesome to reveal'.

It is believed Mr O'Gorman had his throat cut and other parts of his body stabbed with a knife.

Police were alerted to the incident at the property on Beech Park Avenue in Castleknock around 1:50am and recovered a knife from the scene.

A 34-year-old man, believed to be an Italian national from Palermo in Sicily, was arrested at the house and is reportedly due to appear in court later.

Officers are said to believe the row erupted over a move by one of the men during the chess game and the situation quickly spiralled out of control.
