People hardly expect good things; most today are wired to expect the worst in every situation. This is because the fallen human nature is configured to feast on and expect unprecedented evil rather than good.
As a result, people always expect to fall, get hurt and to fail; therefore, they prepare very hard for and against evi, and all kinds of failure.
Funny enough, when the 'long awaited' evil or failure comes, their hearts fret against God.
The word of God says that God is able to meet and exceed our expectations- to the proportion of our inner longing for them.
1. How expectant are you of a preferable tomorrow?
2. Do you see God bringing it to pass by coming forth for you and causing the resources of heaven and earth to attend to you?
3. Do you look forward to your desired change more than the night watchman waits for the morning?
4. Are you literally stretching your neck to catch a glimpse of it as you would at the arrival of a bride in an overcrowded
arena?
