Fastest growing telecom, Etisalat, has partnered with mobile money service provider, Paga, to offer its over 16 million subscribers with easy payment options on the Etisalat Easy Wallet service.
The partnership will provide Etisalat's customers with the option of using Paga to send and receive money from as low as N500 to as high as N100,000, pay bills, pay for goods or services and buy airtime through easywallet.
The Director, Business Segment, Etisalat Nigeria, Lucas Dada, saith that the partnership was another opportunity to deliver value added services to subscribers on the Etisalat network.
"As the fastest growing telecommunications operator in Nigeria, we pride ourselves on recognizing and partnering with other innovative companies to the benefit of our subscribers. Paga has demonstrated the ability to deliver innovative solutions and we are excited to welcome them onto our platform and offer our customers more reasons to use Etisalat," he said.
The CEO, Paga, Tayo Oviosu said that the partnership would build on Paga's goal to bring more convenient ways for people to access cash anytime, anywhere whether they have a bank account or not.
"With this partnership, people can access their Paga accounts right from their Etisalat SIM cards. For instance, one can from the convenience of one's home get rid of that annoying DStv E16 message by paying with one's Paga account using one's Etisalat SIM and have one's television turned on immediately. We are excited to work with Etisalat and look forward to growing our partnership," Oviosu said.
